The Gunter Library Board has been working diligently with grant foundations with the goal to secure funding to expand our Gunter Library. Most library grants are limited only to funding programs offered to the library members, not providing for library operating expenses.

 

In working directly with the BNSF Foundation for many months, we are pleased to announce their approval and award of an operational grant. This operational grant will allow us to fund an increased monthly rental space over the next 3 years. We are now in the process of researching Gunter locations where we can expand our library footprint, allowing us to grow not only our size, but the community library programs and services we can provide.

 

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit library we depend on local business and resident donations and grants to fund our operation.  We treasure each donation, as that money keeps our library doors open and all offerings FREE.
